CAPACITY BUILDING
The ACF invite you to review our Capacity Building Partnership Proposal to help support and grow the foundation.
Since the inception of the foundation in 2014, the ACF has never wavered from our commitment to support locals in hardship. We have donated over $1.3M back to community while operating purely on a volunteer basis. We are now entering a significant growth period where we need your support to create a more sustainable operating model via capacity building.
The ACF board has covered 100% of all operational aspects of the foundation on a volunteer basis. This is estimated at over 2600 hours each years saving the foundation more than $135,000 in actual costs. The ACF board has made personal financial contributions totalling $155,000 in support of incidental operational costs of the foundation. Co-founders Tae Wood and Jeremy Stewart have both made a generous multiyear financial commitment to seed a future capacity fund. The ACF board has also committed to continue to personally contribute skills, resources, and time to fill the gaps in capacity while the foundation grows.

ACF COMMUNITY FOUNDATION MODEL
The ACF has established 3 funds to support both the current operations of the foundation, and to build a ‘roadmap to durability’ to sustain the foundation’s work in the community long term. This provides flexibility for donors to choose how their donations can either support ACF Operations, the ACF Community Future Fund, or the ACF Community Grants Fund – all designed to equally contribute to supporting locals in hardship within our community.
